Coming August 2011: Rise of Planet of the Apes Trailer

By Lisa Friday, July 1, 2011 0 Comments

I am slightly frightened by all the remakes of the movies I remember as a kid. I mean, are we out of fresh ideas or is that we can make the old ones so much better with the new technology? Either way, I remember the original Planet of the Apes….if only a few scenes.

I know I saw a monkey talking and it freaked me out. I thought it was the strangest thing I had ever seen. :) My friends tell me it was a great flick and that I am missing out on some true talent. So, maybe I will check it out before I see the new one coming in August 2011; Rise Of The Planet of the Apes.

Now this flick stars James Franco….mister cutie pants himself. So, I might have to see the original and then check this out. Visusal effects are brought to you from the same people who did Avatar and Lord of the Rings, so I have no doubt this is going to be a spectacular visual show.

Check out the trailer and let me know what you think.
